Walter Ogonje is a seasoned commercial leader with over 20 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, New Business Development, and Strategic Management across East Africa. With a strong background in the pharmaceuticals and FMCG sectors, he has a proven track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion, and building high-performing teams within multinational organizations.
Currently, he serves as the Country General Manager at Medali Pharma Ltd, overseeing overall business growth and strategic expansion. His previous leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, S.C. Johnson, Tetra Pak, and Norbrook Pharmaceuticals have equipped him with extensive expertise in regional sales, business management, and marketing strategy.
Walter holds an MBA in Marketing Management from the University of Nairobi and a BSc in Chemistry & Mathematics from Egerton University

Dr. Valerie Webola
Dr. Webola is a dedicated registered pharmacist with 5 years of field experience in
the pharmaceutical industry. With a deep understanding of human health medicines
from their formulations, therapeutics and clinical application.
Skilled in supply chain management, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and
inventory management. Dr. Valerie is committed to ensuring the highest standards of
patient care, medication safety, and regulatory adherence.
Currently, she serves as the Superintendent/ Company Pharmacist at Medali
Pharma Ltd, overseeing day-to-day supply chain operations at the company’s head
office. Previously, she served as pharmacist in the public sector under the ministry of
health.
Valerie holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Nairobi and
actively stays updated with the latest advancements in industry. She has various
pieces of training in project management and pharmacovigilance.
